Samos in Hamburg

We took out our food during the lockdown. Very friendly, very uncomplicated. And the food was absolutely delicious, I should have ordered more of the Baby Kalamaretti, they made you kneel down: tender, well-seasoned and with a grill flavor, the next time I'll have double the portion!

We are simply enthusiastic not a typical Greek, the liver is super tasty, and you can also order if you are hungry.

Nice and nice restaurant. Great location. Okay in terms of price. Dishes tasty, even if the portions seem a bit small. But you get full. The only drawback is the parking space in the beautiful Osterstrasse.

This is one of the most popular restaurants in the country. Choose Spanish and good Appetit! The only thing that's ugly about this restaurant is the character of the staff. Have fun and enjoy your meal!

Really mediocre. We were there according to Gerd Rindchen's recommendation in the Hamburger Abendblatt - rather disappointing. The food is not bad at all, but not outstanding either. The ambience: nondescript. Rather unspirated / inspiring. Corona data recording? Oh yes, reserved online. Service? Well, we have already experienced it differently / friendlier / more endeavored. Price-performance? See above: mediocre ... The worst: We saw right next to the bar. Permanent DING-DONG, probably indicating that some dishes are now ready to be picked up. Unreasonable Doesn't work at all. To be honest: We will not stop there again ... and Gerd Rindchen, all of our wine and gastronomy pope, should also sit a little more critically at the table in the future!

Adequate waiting time, often asked if everything was okay, all round a successful evening. The food was good but doesn't stand out from other Greek restaurants either.

We were at the Greek Taverna Samos on Osterstraße. Very nice atmosphere and attentive service 🤵🏻 We ate calamari, gyros 🥙 skewer and Bifteki. Even if it didn't look like much, we were well full, so we couldn't get a dessert 🍮. A good wine 🍷 should definitely be ordered with 👍

It's ok, but doesn't quite live up to the press hype. The service is very friendly and attentive. The wine is delicious, the dishes I've seen better at the competition, are latently greasy. Unfortunately, the outside location is affected by street noise.

Delicious Greek food in a modern atmosphere, right on Osterstraße! The restaurant has been extensively renovated. In contrast to most of the Greek taverns, the atmosphere at this restaurant is rather modern, simple and tidy. The food tastes delicious, is freshly prepared and the prices are absolutely reasonable. The staff is on the ball and always courteous, but not intrusive. The classic ouzu at the end is also available on the house. For us in Eimsbüttel the best Greek, we'd love to come back!

Very nice staff, friendly, and the food was delicious, not the mountains of meat often served by the Greeks, but adequate quantities, well prepared, at a reasonable price!

We had the feeling that we should get up quickly to clear a table for the next guests. We're not coming again.

One of the best Greeks I've ever been to. Since the mother is still in the kitchen! The guys who do the service are great too. I would say insider tip and recommend it to everyone.

Best Greek food in Hamburg!

The lunch (gyros with fries) was delicious, sufficient and with 7.90 € also quite cheap. The bread with oil in the way was also very tasty. Since the renovation, the restaurant has won a lot. Bright and friendly. And we could not complain about the staff. Forest in / out? Come again.

Great food and in decent atmosphere

Best greek in town ♡

They are trying to be different than other greek restaurants - there is no blue and white deco straight from Santorini, but modern, minimalistic interiors. Unfortunately the food is all the way traditional - heavy and fatty. I wish the cook would make a modern upgrade to a Greek cusine, because, the standard gyros and metaxa sauce are used up. The service is very nice and dedicated.
